Today's mood: :-)

It's nice to be back in Limoges, strangely. Last night, as I was finally making my descent off the motorway, the warm orange glow over the city was actually quite comforting. I must explore some other places though.

Anyway. I woke up at Brian's this morning and we had coffee and did things then I staggered back to Carreau and opened up the cottage to get some air through it. The stuff I'd left in the sink (oops) was a bit stinky but nothing too distressing to wash. Dealt with that then headed out to Piégut and sorted out some food and bits and bobs. Re-charged my Mobicarte (talking to Matthew for half an hour sort of depleted the credit) then wandered home and did a few more bits and bobs. They're digging the drains at the moment so there are big butch workmen hanging around outside the cottage all day long, which is quite nice.

La Poste has lost my post. They only tried delivering it yesterday and left a "while you were out" note under the mat. So I dutifully wandered over to Marval to pick it up but it's been mislaid. They're currently calling round the post offices for me and I'm to pop in on Friday. How nice and reliable!

Limoges was absolutely packed for Hallowe'en. I've not really seen anything like in on that scale before. I know that when I lived in Newbury kids would come round trick or treating (horrible concept) and you'd get groups of piss-heads wandering around with blood make-up on, but not an entire city with people of all ages taking part.

Traxx and Panthère Rose in the evening. Traxx was quite busy and 'Tophe turned up with bloke in tow (hmph) as did the other Christophe who's frankly quite gorgeous as well. Perhaps it's a name thing. I dunno - I'm becoming more and more a fan of dark eyes and chocolate-box features. Grr.

Got fellated on the sofa on the dancefloor again. The bar staff noticed me being snogged in a corner and all came over to put their hands down my pants. Very strange.
