Millennium Gloucester (135), London
Oooh - this place is quite big actually. I arrived after saying goodbye to Richard - AI rat 2 - and went pretty much straight to Waterloo to meet Jeremy from Eurostar. I'm glad I could remember what he looked like! We grabbed a pizza on the way back and then crashed in the room with a bottle of wine and some fags.
The hotel is very nice. The room is a twin - I asked for a double - and they don't have valet parking, but never mind. When I arrived, I left Mildred parked outside the door and swanned in to the hotel only to be challenged by a rather cute concierge.
"Is that your car?"
"Yes," handing over keys.
"Um, no sir. We don't do that here..."
There was a very bizarre film ("Sitcom") on Channel 4 which was in French with subtitles. Even with the subtitles I didn't really understand the plot, apart from shagging and giant rats, but it was quite amusing. Incredibly surreal, though.
Then we had a quick, um, shagette (which was just as good as I remember from last time but wasn't really quick as it went on for about two hours) and sat in bed watching TV.
Probably the most bizarre part of the evening was me giving a live commentary on Jerry Springer: "Le mec à droite est une travestie. Il baisé l'autre travestie - à gauche, la. Et maintenant - regardez - on a une troisième travestie qui baisé les autres. 'Parlez à la main, soeur...' 'Jerry! Jerry! Jerry!'"
Very bizarre.
