Mildred is sitting outside the wine shop in Oxford waiting for the nice Oxford French people to give her a service. She's a thousand miles late. I wonder if that means she'll have Baby Mildreds? Whilst I was in Oxford, I took the printer back to PC World (oh, the shame) and got my money back rather than another printer. I shall investigate Linux printers a little more before shelling out any more cash. And I can still use the work one, after all! They were very good, and didn't even ask for the five free reams of paper back when they did the refund. Hurrah! I reinstalled X and KDE2 in the evening and now they seem to be behaving themselves. That was quite a technological achievement for me, I think. | |||
