Mildred is serviced. The service cost me twice as much as I'd expected, but Oxford French managed to justify it and pointed out I'd been quoted for an itsy service, and not a full one. That's fair enough, I guess.
Still has a few things to be done to her: brake hoses, brake pads, accumulator sphere, and a boser valve - whatever that is. Something to do with the suspension apparently. Still - I've only paid about £300 a year in servicing on her so far, so that's not bad.
When I went up in the evening to collect her, Tristan was there working on a DS. He ended up luring me into the "I must buy one" trap again. He's so evil. Mind you, my Datek account was all green when I logged in this evening to check how the markets closed, so perhaps I might. I should be being sensible and keeping the money safe for when I'm in France, but... Oh - it's so cute! And it's a 23efi Pallas. Serious stuff. All leather too. Oooh ooh ooh.
James want.
Someone's heard about Sainsbury's! I got an email today from a friend of Terry's who's decided he's going to stop shopping there too! Hurrah! In retrospect, I think I should've mentioned the £200 a month petrol spend as well - but I can mention that next time.
The petrol station in Hungerford sells Attitude. I was stunned!
