Today's mood: :-)

Interesting day.

I spent the morning fixing the remaining bits of yesterday's left-overs, then got on to doing some other stuff. I've got print and web stuff to get done before I leave; suddenly there's stuff for me to do - which is nice.

Sainsbury's rang me to tell me they wouldn't stock Attitude or Gay Times, and that it was a store management decision because those titles are "offensive." Of course, I'm now in vigilante-poof mode and I'll have them stocking them before long. First plan was a letter to the CEO, cc'ed to a few people. Hm.

Went to the hygienist again who's happy with how my chops are coming on since she last saw me. I'm feeling smug now. I have some nice new mouthwash to use (which isn't pants like Listerine is, apparently) and have only one more scrapey appointment, then a filling. Then I'm done! Whee!

I am happier about the whole printer thing now because I took my PC around to Mark's house to have him try and set it up, and he couldn't. Now, he's a clever bunny and we couldn't get it working on either Redhat or SuSE - so it's clearly fucked. It'll be going back to the shop tomorrow in exchange for something else, although I have to figure out what the something else will be. It'll probably be an inkjet, and I shall do my best to wriggle some refund out of them as well. Because I'm like that.

Not much else, really. Mildred is low on LHM I think as the regulator's going quite a bit, but she's in for a service on Thursday so they can deal with it.

Played around some with KDE to see what it does. Broke bits of it; I'll have to re-install tomorrow.

I'm fed up with hearing people from Motorola and Ericsson whinging about this "slow down in economy" hitting their profits. I've had a Motorola, had to use an Ericsson, and now have a Nokia. I reckon they're losing money because their handsets just aren't as good.
