Well. Apart from the fact that work was tedious (although I did stuff today), Redhat reported and closed up 30% which was nice. Out of hours trading was a bit wibbly but it kept its lead and I can now think about another holiday. AMD climbed over $26 as well; I should probably sell it soon.
I've been trying to work out what I want to do for Easter. I'd forgotten it was looming - that's what being out of the church year does to you! Anyway. Choices are, ranging from sensible to absurd:
- Dublin
- Manchester
- Brussels
- Paris
- Prague
- New York
- Sydney
Dublin would be about a hundred quid and I could potentially stay with Simon and Joanna. Manchester would be about £300 as I'd have to stay at Malmaison. Brussels would let me see Terri. Paris would be flights plus whatever accommodation would be. Prague would be £205 in flights and whatever accommodation would be. New York would be £250 in flights and I could stay with Adam. Sydney would be £740 and a bit mad, but fun. I'd have to leave on the Thursday night to arrive on the Saturday, dance Saturday and Sunday, leave on Monday morning, and arrive back on Monday afternoon.
Obviously, one of those is a bit silly, but would be immense fun if I could pull it off. Amex would love me and my JAL miles would give me anough to go to New York for May bank holiday. Over the top, I think.
Driving to Prague was another alternative, but the route planner said it'd take 13 hours to drive there was about 1344km, which is quite a bit of petrol, really. That said it's piss cheap in Europe, but it seems a long way to drive just to shag a porn star. So it's between Dublin and Manchester.
Hm.
I spoke with Roger completely out of the blue. I'm apparently going up to see him the weekend Matthew's in London and I'm singing in Cambridge. I will be a busy boy!
