Today's mood: :-)

Slightly less freezy-cold this morning, thankfully. Pip says it should pick up over the next few days so probably just as we're all off to Marrakech!

Went to La Poste to see what the package was that wasn't delivered the other day and turned out to be more lenses. The woman there was so pleased to see me ("Monsieur Ceautèse!") and asked me all about how England had been and whether I'd got all the stuff they'd been forwarding to Brian's! No service like that in England! Even the woman in Ecomarché asked how and where I'd been. Tesco? Ptchah!

Lots of shopping for yummy things to eat (squishy bunny mush in particular) and other things - like marigolds (woo!), a pink fluffy hot water bottle (squeal!) and toilet freshener (rah!). Got some more wine in because it's always useful when there's no Ribena left.

409 euro phone bill and a leaking boiler. What fun!

Brian came round for dinner in the evening and I cooked Toulouse sausages, mash and red winey-onion gravey. It was more of a glaze than a gravy but somewhat scrummy, although it separated slightly so I tried a little frantic wibbling with a fork but it didn't work. Still - it was very yummy indeed. We drank lots and I tried to explain the dance moves for "Better the devil you know" but failed, cursing the fact I'd left the Live at Wembley video in England.
