Today's mood: :-)

Newbury

Fab weekend! On Friday night, Jon and I headed out after work and had a nice meal at the Ellora, then got home, drank lots, and watched Kevin and Perry go Large until the wee hours - drinking as we went.

When I got to parents in the evening, it turned out that Em was home and that she had the lovely James with her again! She went out so I was left in charge of him which meant I took him to the Saracen's where we had a fabulous night. He ended up pulling some girl called Laura (despite lookinglike a reject from Popstars in his silver trousers and sparkly top) who was quite nice. We ended up going round to her house for drinkies and things and then, just as it looked as if they may cop off, I announced we were going home. (Good tactic) He spent the rest of the evening being slightly flustered, bless him, until he finally slurred that he might be feeling curious. What fun!

Voice-of-Balls sent me a minidisc of the BBC World music. It's well trippy and I've got about 30 minutes of different variations on it now!

Tophe will be in Paris after all so I will be stopping off when I got through on Saturday. I booked my tickets on Friday so I am definitely going home. Rah! I don't know what's going on in that boy's head.

Ludlow this morning for drinkies with people. Got some Christmas cards too! Yay! Drove back early evening and stopped, briefly, outside Gloucester to find a busy lay-by (I drive past it quite often and it's never been occupied!) which turned out to be full of youngish drunkish straightish lads who were all quite nice. God, I do some sordid things sometimes.

I shall have to wash these jeans; the knees are all muddy.
