Today's mood: :-)

Had a really really pleasant day today.

I had hoped to wake up in time to be able to wander over to St. Nic's to do some organ stuff, but I didn't, really. And, just as I was going to, Liam rang to find out if I was coming over to get something to eat. Oh well. Thing is, I could've done with getting them both into the church as I need to figure out at some point what music they want for February 9th. I should also find out the specification of the organ there so I can make sure I can play it! (The music, that is...)

Looking forward to that. A month in New Zealand punctuated by a wedding on the south island at Lake Tekapo in a teeny church (of the Good Shepherd) which looks completely glorious. Lovely. Can't wait. The invitation will be for James plus one. I'm wondering who to take; I might consider asking Emma so long as she promises not to turn into a "I've been here before and am an authority" bore. Which would be boring. We'll see.

I started watching Men in Black which I bought yesterday (along with Shine and Cruel Intentions) but didn't get that far into it.

Jon and I took Liam and Nicola to lunch and we ate far too much! It was quite a nice afternoon and this Sunday has been a particularly chilled and fab day. Afterwards, we piled back to Jon's for dinner (but much later on!) which was a Quorn-disguised-as-chicken Roast with lovely roast potatoes. We watched Galaxy Quest and Titanic as we chilled.

Titanic is a fab film. I knew it was guilty of inaccuracies but Nic and I did a quick blap on the net to find the definitive list of fuck-ups and we spotted a few more that I'd not noticed before. I understand that things can go wrong in movie making - it's expensive to do things again and again - but the one which really surprised me was First Officer Murdoch's re-appearance during the scene where they're cutting down one of the collapsibles; he'd shot himself about five minute previously. That and the clearly-visible piece of string pulling the glass from the mantelpiece when Thomas Andrews gives Rose his lifejacket. Odd how these things get through, really.

I'm still annoyed that I didn't take up Gregory's offer of going to visit the set that time. Pah! Oh well. Perhaps I should actually get round to saying what I said I'd do some time which was to pay wads of cash to go and visit the real one. Hm. Would be nice. Somewhat unlikely, I fear, given the next dive date is 15-25 July - just a bit too soon, really. I wonder if they'll do one next year?

Oooh. Dreams. What fun!

More SMSes with Peter and a quick phone call as well. Hm. Chatted with Jeremy too who was on a beach somewhere. Forgot to ring him back, actually.
