A non-smoking day
Today's mood: :-/

Work work work. Usual kind of stuff. It's quite good though - I've got some useful stuff done. If the content becomes forthcoming the new AI site can go live quite quickly.

Exchange server is going wibbly. This really doesn't concern me because I don't do Exchange admin, although people seem to think I do. Spent an hour uninstalling and reinstalling bastardised copies of Office on someone's machine which was fun. Changed the "advisory message" on their phone to "I smell of wee :-)" which made me giggle. It was 7.30pm after all.

My landlady rang today to arrange to be paid rent. It's really annoying that she insists on being paid in case as it means I can't just transfer the money from my account. Anyway. I asked about a reduction for the few days I was without hot water but she wasn't prepared to budge. That really fucked me off but I didn't bother pushing the point as I rang the tax office instead and declared her undeclared cash income for her instead. That was much more therapeutic.

I went out for a couple of glasses of wine with Graham in the evening. We were going to go to the pub but when I got to the Hilton to pick him up he was already in the bar, drinking, so it was just easier to sit down and join him. As we'd planned to go pubbing, I'd told Steve but I left my phone in the car so missed the "which pub?" call. I headed round for a coffee on my way home instead.

Steve's agreed to try and help me with my printer problems so I'm going to go round one night next week with a DVD and a pizza and get it all sorted.

Found out the name of the film I watched at Jon's on Monday night. It's called "Army of One" and starred Dolph Lundgren - which must be a made up name. Still - he was quite pretty to look at so I enjoyed the film. Steve mentioned it because of the car chase with a Ferrari and a Lambourghini. Very good stuff.

Have to make a list of stuff I need to do before France and whilst I'm there. I wonder how long I'll be able to support myself there?
