Today's mood: :-/

Felt a bit rough after all the drinking last night. My own fault, admittedly. That said, I was up nice and early and in time to meet Jon on the A4 roundabout in Mildred to get to work nice and early. I was impressed.

Work was alright. I'm still not loving it but I've stuff to do now and, after some deliberation with someone who'd designed something with little regard to its user interface, I got on with doing important stuff. Which was cool.

I spent a lot of time online after work watching stock go up and down on Datek. I had set a limit of $30 to sell my AMD stock but forgot to (greed) and ended up watching AMD top $30.15 before settling back down to about $29.7 - but I'm still in profit.

Matthew can't come to Paris for Easter, which is a bit pants, I have decided. It's a perfectly valid reason, but I would've liked to go. He can't do anything about it either. I'm not sure if I fancy Paris by myself, really. I shall see whether Tony fancies it. Impressed myself by calling Hôtel Vieux du Marais (where Philip and I stayed in 1999) and getting room prices (750ff a night) and stuff.

Watched a pheasant get thrown into the air on the A4. It was just getting airborne and some twat in a 4x4 who'd either decided not to slow down or who didn't care, caught it with his roof, sending it spinning into the air and onto the ground. Had it not been pissing with rain and full of traffic, I'd have stopped to check on it although it looked suitably dead. I wouldn't have enjoyed having to break its neck.

Drinkies in The Wellington again in the evening.
