Sydney
Woke up at about midday, finally. Toby rang me to say "It's 4pm!" which was unfair as it sent me into a spiral of panic, as best I could muster in my semi-conscious state.
Lingered around the house and did stuff before heading into Oxford Street where I met up with a cutesie little 19 year old who turned out to have an improbably large willy and a rather attractive tummy. Got shagged quite comprehensively and then arrived and sat very gingerly in the Hertz rental reception whilst they sorted out my rental car with extra comfy seats.
I managed to get myself lost in Sydney, whilst getting infuriated by the reversed indicator/washer controls and taking out my anger on other drivers by giving them short, sharp, bursts on the windscreen washers. I think I made myself clear!
Tony was playing volleyball which gave me the hitherto unimaginable opportunity to watch the Sydney High Volleyball team do their thing. And the balls dribble too.
Quiet night in because we're off to the Blue Mountains tomorrow and it's an early start. Did some supermarket stuff for picnic tomorrow ("Paté? How do you spell that? No, I'm not sure, sorry...") followed by an incredibly cheap sit-in Thai meal at AUS$30 for the three of us. Very very scrummy, although I couldn't eat all of it so it's now in the fridge.
I'm enjoying this. I'm still tanless.
