Not a bad day, really. I woke up at midday and then strolled into the office for about 2pm. I like this lifestyle - I should work late more often. Only in a nightclub or something. (Might be a bit difficult to prove, though...)
Did some more encoding and some HTML bits and pieces for a client in the afternoon, nothing exciting. Quite infuriating actually, bits of it. Oh well - it pays bills and shit.
Arranged to have lunch with Marcus next weekend. I haven't seen him for ages so it'll be nice to get in touch and catch up and stuff. Emailed Eva (PR Diva) to find out what she's up to and stuff. Haven't spoken with her for aaaaaaaaaages - since before the baby. (Which I assume has been born by now!)
Amazon seems to have figured me out quite quickly. Their music recommendations - based on two purchases so far - are 2 Steps CDs, 3 Stephen Gately CDs, some Kylie, some Sheena Easton, and S Club 7. Oh dear.
Reading in the evening (when I finally got out!) for a drink. Jayse was there so I nattered to him for most of it. A couple of cuties there, actually, but nothing fruitful. Perhaps I looked too desperate or something!
Ended up being dragged into a squabble between three of the bar staff, which really annoyed me. Because I heard someone say something to someone else and commented "Ooh - that's fighting talk, that!" I got told I should back up the other person's story when he told the manager and - oh god! Aaaaargh! Got out of it lightly, I think. I hope, anyway.
Can't sleep again - body clock shagged. 3am and I'm downloading Betty Boo from Napster. The shame!
I'm going to buy a Dolby Digital amp at the weekend. Richer Sounds have a nice deal on one at the moment and they'll give me back half of what I paid for my last amp, so I'll get it for about £50. Can't be bad. Taking back the MZE60 as well because it munches batteries like never before. I like Richer Sounds. I have been evangelising around the office. M_at has said I can have his spare JPW ML310s (baby to my existing speakers) which will make great surrounds. Rah! Rah!
Weather's looking better for Sunday now. Lyssa was on "The Weakest Link" today. I was stuck in the office (so much for leaving at six!) so Richard recorded it for me.
