Today's mood: :-)

Woo! Snow! Not really fluffy white powdery snow like in Québec - more like huge sloppy great cum-globs of snow. But snow, nonetheless. Philip was happy because he'd been forecasting snow a few days ago and nobody else was concurring.

I was very sad and ordered all the Scooch singles and a copy of the album from amazon.co.uk for no real apparent reason, other than the fact that I quite like "The best is yet to come" and I've heard it loads in The Granby recently. Time to learn all the words!

BabyGareth drove into Hungerford and met me for lunch which turned out to be a tuna baked potato at The Sun Inn. Very healthy. I had a huge craving for one of their Steak and Kidney puddings, especially as Rupert and people were eating them directly behind me and the aroma was more than alluring. Rupert sneaked me a little piece of pudding whilst Jon wasn't looking and hence couldn't remind me of my commitments to getting fit and lithe for Sydney. (Yeah, right.)

Drove to Tripodia in the evening. Shortly after Swindon the M4 the snow and fog disappeared to leave a crisp, dry road. Sped along that quite nicely and made my way there in time for a quick McDonald's (I'm so naughty) and to stop off at the off licence and stock him up on gin and tonic. Smoked far too much. Nice evening.
