Started looking at the ordering system I've got to write and how best to go about doing bits and pieces of it. Learned about regular expressions today - woo! That was exciting - for me anyway. It's going to be multi-lingual and all sorts. Probably - if I can be bothered.

I got some email from Martin! Don't think there's going to be much else than email there unfortunately. Oh well - never mind. I put him on my ICQ list and we've had a couple of flurries back and forth but nothing of any note. I tried sending him a text message and got a successful delivery report but forgot to ask whether he'd received. Unlikely - mobiles in the Americas seem useless.

Went round to Jon's in the evening for dinner with Mark. It was a fabulous meal. Mark's off to Redhat in the US for a few months so during the desk tidying process let me have his red Fédora. Now I feel like a real Redhatter - even though I'm not any more.
