Cold's still here. Brussels now postponed at least a week. Hopefully I'll be better soon.

Philip and Celine are off tomorrow morning so I popped round in the evening to wish them a bon voyage and to give them some eggs from Brian's hens as they've been speed-laying. I didn't stay long so as not to infect them.

I slept some of the day but the bits I was awake for included the thunderstorm which knocked out the phones with the first flash of lightning (held together by string!) and the torrential rain. I like storms.

Brian and I watched Little Voice and Mars Attacks whilst pondering why none of my DVDs have French on them. We considered it may be that it's illegal to sell DVDs in France which have English as the default option, but then discovered some films on DVD that do have French, so we think it's just a marketing thing.
