Chez Brian
Brian and I have been thinking we might spend Christmas in Marrakech. It doesn't look as if it'll be that expensive to get there, although we've decided driving is probably not a good idea. We can fly from Bordeaux to Casablanca then get a train all very easily.
Whilst thinking about driving, I tried the RAC route planner which directed me to Tangiers quite successfully, although it was the one on the west coast of Wales which wasn't what we were expecting.
Philip and Celine came over for dinner. I had expected to do some zork as part of the preparation, but ended up doing sohpping and carrot cutting instead as Brian seemed to know what he was doing. The pumpkin soup was gorgeous and I watched very carefully so I now know how to make vegetarian stock and everything.
Anyhow. Food gorgeous, company gorgeous, wine gorgeous, with a few gorgeous gin and tonics before hand to help the evening get underway. I'm quite into this Pastis thing as well. Yummy!!
Seeiong boy student tomorrow. Must pop over to the cottage and grab a few bits and pieces before I head to Brussels on Thursday.
