I did soup for lunch with croutons and crunchy bread and stuff. All was well received and it seemed to set everyone up - apart from Nicola and I who went for a little sleep - nicely to do some strenuous work in the afternoon. We let them get on with it whilst we slept, poking our heads in momentarily to tell them we were off to get stuff for supper.

We bought stuff for the evening meal - pizzas, wine, stuff - and things for tomorrow's big barbeque. That's going to be quite good fun as we've got kebaby things, some burgery things, some chicken bits, and some huge mushrooms and peppers for Jon and Nic to stuff with rice and stuff. On our return, Jon had a little bit of a strop because we'd not managed to get him any fags (we even went to the bar at the lake to, um, try and buy some there) but he buzzed off on Liam's bike to find some.

Pleasant evening of sitting around eating pizza, listening to music, talking about stuff and having fun. A couple of hornets hung around on the window and after having read all about them, I decided not to nerve gas them and just watched them instead.

I'm pleased everyone's here. Jon was touch and go for a few days but he's made it so that's good. What with Liam, Nic, Jon and me being a bit of a posse-type-thing. Would have been a shame for us to be split up this weekend.
