Today's mood: :-)

Well. I'm back in Newbury temporarily just to shift the final few bits and pieces out of the flat and hand over keys tomorrow. Woo woo!

Paid in my first affection limited cheque today. It was very exciting and I couldn't help feeling an itsy bit proud of myself. I suppose it's probably an everyday occurence for most people but never mind. The man in Leominster NatWest was nowhere near as nice as Sarah in Hungerford, though. I've heard from a couple of people that the reason NatWest Hungerford is so good is because Sarah is there.

Mum twisted me into buying Emma a reconciliation gift which I dutifully did even though I'm actually not the one who starts arguments. It turns out she's been festering over one in particular. I was absolutely furious at the episode and its suggested resolution so made a point of making sure it was known that she couldn't expect to have Mum leap to her defence every time she started losing a slanging match and that next time she tried it I would rip her to shreds. I considered the affair to be somewhat one sided given I was buying things even though I didn't get a card yesterday. Hm. "Under duress" wrapping paper. What a fabulous idea.

Jon's in the evening with Jamie for wine, feeding and Voyager. Turns out that next Monday's episode is being shown in one sitting, so I'm not going to miss out on the last episode after all! I would've been mightily unimpressed if I had, even though Dave's sending the thing on DivX.

I'm desperately excited now.
