So - I'm a free man at last!
Work was slow. I spent the morning tidying my desk then really couldn't be bothered to achieve much in the afternoon. Traded an afternoon over the weekend for the convenience of doing nothing today.
NatWest have opened the accounts. They had me apply for one of their credit cards as well, and it felt very bizarre putting affection limited in the employer's details bit! Actually, it's all quite exciting, really. I must send the small business woman some flowers because she has been superb!
My leaving do was an incredibly drunken and debauched affair. Our little gang was graced with the presence of the CEO who came down to buy me a drink and thank me for my hard work. Blimey! He's never been to anyone else's leaving do, apparently, so it was quite nice he came. The food was good (Gordon's in Hungerford) and the company pleasant as well. There were about twenty of us in all - ten times as many people as are left in the office!!
I don't remember much of the evening after the meal. It was too boozey for that. Rah!
