A non-smoking day
Today's mood: :-)

Thankfully, I'm not going to die. My doctor says my chest pains were nothing to worry about and probably just musculature moving around. He stopped short of "two aspirin and a hot bath" but I'm sure he was thinking of it. That's good, though - although it does mean I don't get to experience BUPA before I leave.

Up to the bank at lunchtime to sort out my accounts. Affection now has a bank account (scary serious stuff!) and my personal account will be moving from the Halifax - who declined me for a shiney card - to NatWest - who have given me a shiney card and a shiney account. I've figured out that 465 must've been causing the problems on my credit file as they only asked for my last two addresses and I whizzed through the application. Should get round to sorting out my certificate of satisfaction, I suppose.

Hopefully, NatWest will be easier to wire money to from Datek as well because they are a UK clearing bank so we won't have these pantsy correspondent banks to deal with. We'll see.

Spent a significant amount of time trying to find out the names of the cute boys in Domino Dancing. Not too difficult - David Boira, Adalberto Martinez Mojica, Eduardo Martinez - but somewhat disappointing to find that there are no websites dedicated to their worship.

Out of work quickly in the evening and off to Reading for drinkies with D which were unplanned and hence actually quite pleasant. We were going to go to The Wellington but I'm still boycotting so we ended up in the Wynnie instead. From Wynnie to Granby where there were loads of people I knew, then on home via a "straight" boy's house.

"I can't do that, my mum's asleep upstairs."
