Ok. So the server thingie I'm getting is an old PII233 with a 9 gig drive and 64 meg of RAM. Apparently, that should be more than plenty to run Linux on as a server doobrym, so I'm quite happy. I'll hopefully get it on Monday.
I had chosen NatWest to be my bank of choice for affection, but I rang them up today and they're faffing around and insisting I write a business plan. "Make enough money to seduce sultry French boys on mopeds" probably isn't acceptable. I've pointed out that an hour of my time is worth more than I'd pay in bank charges to another bank, so they can deal with no plan or I'll quite literally take my business elsewhere.
Got some stuff to do for the Army, which will be fun. Lots of soldiers. Grrrr.
Not long to go now! Whee!
