Today's mood: :-)

Ilford

It's been a good weekend!

Yesterday, after some nothingness in the morning, I drove up to Leicester to get to Alexi's John's place for the weekend. We got there about 7pm (I met up with them - Alexi, John, DaveW and Chris - on the M1) and had a quick chill before heading out to John's new club in Birmingham.

Wild Fruit was a stonking night. We were all on the guesty-VIP list (which John had arranged) so spent a lot of the time standing around drinking champagne (which Alexi had bought) and stuff. Sal turned up quite late (he'd got on the wrong train from Euston) and we bopped lots. Sal did karaoke. I bumped into gorgeous French (topless) Frank from Bristol who was very lovely and gave me a huge snog.

In addition, but not in a slutty way, I got off with one of the go-go boys (I must go and see him tomorrow) and then met this nice person called Wedge who accompanied us back to Leicester.

To be honest, I'm not entirely sure where he came from, really. All I remember is that at the end of the evening, Sal was dribbling around some cute boy and we were waiting for the coat check. Then it got cold so I loaned him my jacket - because I'm oh so chivalrous. Oh yes.

Anyway.... he ended up in our cab (I'm not sure who invited him back but I wasn't complaining) with his, um, legs open and, um, bits and pieces available. The cab journey went relatively quickly (not sure how for sixty quid) mainly because I spent most of it eating him.

Then we got back to John's where I very subtley fellated him in the kitchen whilst Dave, Lex, Chris and Sal watched News 24. I'm sure John was around somewhere but I didn't notice him until I sheepishly emerged slightly later on under the pretence of having been in to put the kettle on.

Slept on the floor in the lounge and did rude things. Wedge is very yummy and - well, yummy. Woke up being snuggled as well.

Showed my article to various people; good responses from all. Coo! I might write some more.

We all sat around and chatted for a while then headed out to the Hogshead for a not particularly wonderful lunch. The comment people used the most seemed to be "boil in the bag" which was fair. The vegetables were a bit mushy and lacking saltiness, but the absolute killers were the Yorkshire puddings - quite flavoury but soggy as hell.

The conversation seemed to revolve mainly around me, shagging. I'm not entirely sure quite what the fixation was but Sal and Chris were almost unshakable in their quest to find out from Wedge or I what the other one was like. It started getting a little tiresome after a while but having known Sal for a while I've learned how to tune him out.

After lunch - and vodka (although I didn't) - we eventually piled into Mildred and headed home. The drunkards were verging on unbearable, but all in all it wasn't too bad. We stopped on the M1 for a break half way home and toyed with leaving Sal there, but thought that could a be bit mean. Lots of boys in Army uniform too - always fun.

Sal asked if I'd teach him to drive - right before then asking "is this a manual or an automatic?" as I changed gear. Hm.

Eventually, we got back to Scott and Owen's where I sat around and watched some of "Men in Black" on DVD before having a shower and heading out to the Black Horse in Stepney Green for drinkies and things. Sal had been drinking a little bit more - although he didn't notice his drinks diminishing whenever his back was turned - so decided karaoke would be a good option. And, apparently, attempting to bitch a drag queen and being made to look a bit of a tit. It was quite painful to watch, really. But he sang well - so it wasn't all bad.

Went out for a curry with Dave, Chris, and Sal before hopping into a cab and wandering back to the flat. Everyone was still awake when I got here and so we settled down for a few episodes of Danger Mouse on DVD. I did a quick email check as well and had some mail from the cute boy who was working with the act at The Granby last week. He was really nice.

DaveL is here. A few others are here. It's quite cool. I'm knackered! Too many excesses this weekend! Yay!
