Took Mildred up to Oxford French to have the scarily expensive work done to her. I did look for 2CVs on the net during the day but in the end I decided I'd fork out this now and then get rid of her when she breaks or at 150k - whichever comes first. Of course, if she's healthy at 150k I might hang on to her for another 50. We'll see.

Work is now incredibly tedious, although I'm now down to two months to go. I should probably start figuring out what I'm going to do in July, although I've got a three week contract then which will postpone my trip to France until August. Not necessarily a bad thing, mind.

I got a speeding ticket today - my first one ever. Apparently I was doing 40mph in a 30mph limit in Reading a couple of weekends ago. That's quite dull because, although I hurtle along open roads at some tilt, I'm usually quite careful about driving slowly where there are restrictions because they're there for a reason. So are the motorway ones but the traffic's moving faster anyway, if you see what I mean. Pah. And what's annoying is that I think it's the 30 limit where you come out of a 40 limit and there's a camera just after the sign. Dull dull dull.

Couldn't be bothered to do anything useful in the evening so I went to McDonald's. Had quite a long chat with Gaz in the evening as well.
