Aaargh! Mildred's tax is due for renewal tomorrow and I can't find my insurance or MOT documentation anywhere - which is desperately annoying. Oh well. I'd thought they were at home (as in here) but they're not. Dad assures me he gave them to me the day I got back from Québec, but I don't remember anything from then as I was so wasted.
I'll ring Oxford French tomorrow to get a replacement MOT certificate and Corinthian to replace my insurance documents. I should be legal again by the end of the week. And anyway - whether I pay for my tax tomorrow or next week, I'll still pay for the whole month so it's hardly a problem. I wonder whether that would stand up in court?
Probably.
It was quite bizarre arriving home. Dad wandered out with the disinfectant and cleaned Mildred. It was like one of those scenes in the X-Files, apart from the fact he didn't have a bio-suit. He did have the little canister and the squirty thing though; very bizarre. Still - his livelihood is at risk I guess.
I forgot to pay my rent. Oops! Will have to rush back to Newbury tomorrow night to pay it. Pah! Still - it'll be good to be back early because it means I won't have to be tired on Wednesday morning.
Mum likes her didjeridu. We have been playing it all evening but we can't get anything much more than "flurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrp" out of it so far. I will have to figure out how this circular breathing works; you never know when else it might come in handy.
