Today's mood: :-(

Clearly my stomach thought the vegetarian lasagne was so good that I should see it again, and woke me at 2am to tell me. I was thrilled, obviously, as that meant that I couldn't actually get to sleep again until about 6am because as soon as I moved or tried to move, my stomach threatened to offer more regurgitated delights.

Now I'm not sure whether this was brought about by something nasty in my cooking, or the fact that my endless coughing today finally caused my stomach to give way and launch its contents at the sink in the bedroom. The sink is now partially empty as most of it flushed away nicely, but I still have to deal with chunky mushrooms and kidney beans which wouldn't fit through the plug hole.

Eventually, I woke up again at about 10.30am because Jon rang me to see if I was coming in to work or not. Thankfully, I'd texted him at 2am and 4am to tell him I was having fun expelling my dinner, so he wasn't surprised or unbelieving when I told him that I was ill and wasn't coming out to play. So sweet is he that at lunchtime he brought me some fruit, chicken soup, bread, and chocolate to help the day go past faster. Sweetie-poppet that he is.

I didn't do much else during the day, other than eat lots of grapefruit, drink loads of water, and consume the precious things from Jon. I did lots of sleeping which seemed to involve sweating lots. I did some online stuff in the afternoon and managed to get my Apache setup working. The problem turned out to be horribly simple after all my httpd.conf tweaking and was that ~jamesc wasn't readable by Apache. Duh! Still haven't done Steve's stuff. Must do that soon.

It snowed today. That was very pretty and unexpected.
