Today's mood: :-)

I managed to get up and get myself into London in time to meet Marcus, and what's more - I was on time. I was quite astonished by that given that I didn't actually go to bed until some ridiculous hour this morning and I was shattered when I woke up and thought I'd fallen asleep again!

Got to Marcus' house on the dot of 1pm and headed out to Kensington Place for lunch where I ate terribly bad, but horribly scrummy things and drank wine - although not as much as I've had liked as I was driving! Not to worry - the meal was absolutely fantastic and it was really ace to see him again after so long!

Bit miffed with Oxford French as the oil light came on when I went to leave and a quick check showed the level was well under the bottom groove on the dipstick. They said they'd checked all my levels when they had her in on Friday so obviously I'm not best pleased. I'll give them a call tomorrow and ask why mysteriously I have no oil. Hm. My passenger side dip bulb has died as well. Arse.

After lunch (which came to £110 - eek!) we had a walk in Holland Park (admiring the, er, art) and then I drove to Croydon to see M_at and Matt and had dinner (more food - I've eaten so much today) and DVDs and things. Listened to the lobby shooting spree in The Matrix on their big oofy stereo which made the neighbours bang very loudly on the floor. Good fun though.

Nice to catch up with people. This weekend seems to have been the one for it, actually. Coo.

Had a huge long chat with Terri who I haven't spoken to properly since before Christmas. I pledged to go and visit the week after I come back from Sydney, assuming I'm alive and functioning - which will be interesting. I haven't seen her for ages either - it'd be nice to catch up and drink to excess.
