Hmph.
The weather was too bad for Steve and I to go flying this morning, so we will have to reschedule. Mildly annoyed about that. Ah well. It didn't improve all day which was probably a good thing as I would've been more infuriated had it cleared up in the afternoon.
Connected everything to the amplifier properly and now it's stonking!! It really does sound good! Chuffed about that.
Much PC playing. Managed to install XOSL over my 9 gig Windows partition (by mistake, obviously) which was dull but beneficial as it meant I could lose Windows Me and put 98 on instead. I meant to choose the "install onto DOS partition" rather than "use this partition for XOSL." Ah well. Oops!
Signed up to madasafish as my ISP and also to their unmetered service. That'll take a couple of days to come through apparently, but I'm not that fussed. I'm not really intending to do much surfy surfing, although that said I was on gay.com for about 4 hours this afternoon. As you do.
Steve provided a copy of Redhat 7 "Deluxe" (because it comes with Sim City 3000, apparently) which is groovy. I presume, anyway. It's not out of the box yet. Tsk! He's got a very nice new Lexus. I sat in it and played with buttons. Very nice. Not a Skoda, mind you.
Was very naughty and had an Indian takeaway meal instead of actually cooking something healthy, because to be honest I'd spent so much time playing on my PC (whilst listening to music) that I forgot to go to Sainsbury's and buy food, and much as I know it's good for me and much as I know I'm good at it, I just couldn't face pasta with tomato-something sauce again. And I'm out of tuna, otherwise I would've had that instead.
Apparently Tripod-Gareth has been beaten up. Sent a quick text but didn't phone him in case he was doing family things. I'll extend an invitation to him to escape the oh-so cosmopolitan confines of Hereford for a while, if he'd like. Wankers.
