Whee! I finished the ordering system and I'm quite happy. Now I have three days to build a site for another company in the group which I think might be pushing it a little bit given that the current site is a mess and I ahve to try and work with it. We'll see.
No gym. I managed to get myself stuck in the office without my door pass so had to use the fire escape, before going round to Mark's to park his car for him.
Actually, that's not entirely fair. Whilst he had lured me there under the pretence of driving his sparkly new car, it actually turned out I was also helping shift Geoff's (now very damp and squishy) furniture in Mark's garage. Then he did comment that he could probably do it himself but in the end I ended up putting the car in the garage. It's not a nice drive in that it's quite small (if Mildred goes to stay I have to climb out through the window or sunroof) so I could understand his concern. It's a nice car, actually.
Anyway. Redhat have shipped him off to the US for a few months to do exciting things for them. I'm hoping that one of them will be clearly labelled "Increase share price again" although I think that would be a teensy bit difficult for even Mark to achieve single-handedly. We'll see.
Coo. What excitement. He asked me whether I'd contemplate doing some contract work for a few months or so so I said I'd consider. I'm not sure where the location for this would've been but I pointed out I'd likely be free after July 1st anyway so I'd quite happily do stuff for them so long as I could do it from Perigueux.
Coo.
