This page shows images taken of the AXV-5 launch, in August, 1996. The images are framegrabbed stills from the AspireSpace onboard CCD colour video camera, which transmitted the images to the ground via the main onboard telemetry system.

Image Details This framegrabbed video image is taken during the descent, and shows the smoke trail from the ascent. The light coloured building in the center of the frame, is the pavilion used at the Scottish Rocket Weekend. The buildings in the trees to the left are Kelburn Country Centre. |
