Now you can be assured of the best in logon security with CRYPTOCard Secure Password Technology. Many organizations have implemented CRYPTOCard's remote access control systems to authenticate users and provide a high degree of network security. CRYPTOCard products logon security are based on 2 factor authentication; the 2 factors being something the user knows, a PIN, and something the user carries, a token.

CRYPTOCard authentication tokens, also referred to as dynamic password generators or one-time password generators, employ cryptographic principals to generate a seemingly random and unpredictable password for each new logon attempt.

The user tokens operate in conjunction with a back end user authentication server called CRYPTOAdmin. CRYPTOAdmin validates the one-time passwords from individual users and passes accept/reject messages on to other applications. It is also used to initialize and manage all software tokens as well as hardware tokens. This gives a corporation the flexibility to employ any combination of software and hardware tokens to meet both the logon security needs of the corporation and provide a satisfying end user experience.
