Project Title:
Organic Chemistry on Neuroreceptors and Ion Channel Proteins
Project Description:
Students will be involved in the synthesis of unnatural amino acids for incorporation into proteins of interest to neurobiology using recently developed new methodology. The major work would be in our organic chemistry laboratory, although the student would have contact with neurobiologists who are also part of this collaborative research program.
