'Outlands' is more properly a term applied to an area than to the mottley collection of buildings that nestle within the jungles to the east of Drakenwood. The name derives from the fact that it is a generally extremely lawless area. Drakenwood doesnt have the resources to properly patrol it, and thus it has become a base to every criminal, outlaw and rogue for leagues.

Although there is a post office there, much of the mail from Outlands is lost, and postmen have a habit of disappearing when carrying letters addressed to notables. The only establishments to do well in the area are the Brigands Bar, run by Hannibal, once a nortorious murderer, and the Outlands Shop, run by Bertha, a half-orc that you wouldnt even think of double crossing for fear of your life. Predictably, both these individuals have strong links to the underworld.

It is known that the main Rogues Guild in the area has its base somewhere in Outlands, although the exact location is unknown. It is, therefore, a rather dangerous area to travel to, unless you know where you are going, and can hold your own in a fight.
